At midnight at 38+2 weeks I woke up with incredibly painful contractions... With my first baby I was dilated 1cm from weeks 36-38 each time I was checked and dilated to 3.5cm at 39 weeks. I went for the strep b and cervix check today and was 3cm and 50 percent ...Nov 30, 2020 at 3:31 PM. @DSweezie, that’s how much the cervix has thinned. Like. f. ftdec20. Nov 30, 2020 at 4:17 PM. At my 38 week appointment today I was 2cm, 80% effaced with a soft cervix and my OB said my baby had dropped. But he also didn’t seem to think I would have it anytime soon so who knows ♀️..
